Bruce and his band are currently touring their staggering 16th studio album “Working on a Dream” worldwide. The album was released in January 2009 and topped the American Billboard charts in its first week of release. It is his 9th number one album in the USA, and only the Beatles, Elvis, and Jay Z have had more chart topping albums in the nation. A rock icon around the world, Bruce’s fusion of folk ballads, blues and rock is winning new fans every year. Popularly known as “The Boss”, you will be guaranteed a wonderful show with fans favourites such as “Born to Run”, “Dancing in the Dark”, “Radio Nowhere”, “Brilliant Disguise” sure to be performed by the band, plus new tracks “My Lucky Day”, “The Wrestler” and the title track of his brilliant new record.

The E-Street Band have been Bruce’s rocking backing band since 1972, and performed on his very first record “Greetings from Asbury Park New Jersey”. Bruce and the band have created some of rock music’s most famous works including “Born to Run”, “Born in the USA”, “The River”, and his previous release “Magic”. The band has worked with a number of other popular performers such as David Bowie, Dire Straits, Bob Dylan, Meatloaf and Sting.

The Venue

The RDS (Royal Dublin Society) is a popular concert and major exhibition centre, and is located approximately 20 minutes walking distance from Dublin City in the Ballsbridge area. Find out more about the RDS.

How to get there
If walking to the RDS, get onto Nassau Street (which is close to Trinity College). Walk down this street and onto Clare Street, and this becomes Merrion Square North, then Lower Mount Street, Northumberland Road and eventually Merrion Road, and you will be able to see the RDS on the right hand side.
To get to the venue by bus, take the number 5 and 7 buses from Upper O”Connell Street, or the number 45 from Eden Quay.
You could also take the DART train to the RDS, you can get this at Connolly Station or Tara Street Station in the city centre and this will take you to Lansdowne Station which is only a brief walk from the concert venue.
