A mere €15 is the cost for the 75 minutes tour, and you’ll get an insight into the musical and literary history of Dublin by not only passing the places where the writers came from and honed their talents, but also through an audio visual show on board the bus, where you will learn about their lives!

The 75 minute journey is a magical mystery tour to exploring the history and literary talent of Dublin from Behan to Beckett, and the musical geniuses of Ireland from Van Morrison, The Chieftains, Rory Gallagher to Thin Lizzy, U2 and Sinead O’Connor. You’ll get a great insight into the beginnings of the most famous artists, as well as the areas they came from, and what inspired them through their musical journeys.
The colourful, psychedelic designed bus (named “Tattooed Lady” after one of guitar legend Rory Gallagher’s classic songs) was especially brought in, all the way from Nashville, Tennessee! Your tour guide will be able to provide you with any information, as well as answer any questions you may have, on the various stops along the way.
On route you’ll find out where the statue commemorating the celebrated lead singer of Thin Lizzy and songwriter Phil Lynott is, you’ll pass along the Rory Gallagher way, and visit the places where Ireland’s musical icons carved out their careers, as well as the venues where they played their first gigs around Dublin!
You’ll also stop off at the wonderful “U2 Wall” - a wall decorated with graffiti at Windmill Lane Studios, where U2 recorded their first three albums (Boy, October and War), and created their earliest demo tapes in the late 1970′s. The walls outside the famous studio have been decorated with pens and paint throughout the years by U2 zealots from all over the globe. Although the studio is no longer in place there, the U2 Wall has become a monument to perhaps the biggest band in the world today.
