Oliver Saint John Gogarty’s is a very popular traditional Irish pub located right in the heart of Dublin city centre. Popular among locals and visitors to the city, this pub is located in Dublin’s cultural quarter of Temple Bar. Here you will be entertained with live traditional Irish music, song and dance each day from 2.30pm to 2:30am! There is a traditional restaurant upstairs which has achieved the prestigious ‘Dining Pub Award’ in the past serving the very best in Irish cuisine. A great night is assured when you visit Oliver Saint John Gogarty and why not wash your experience down with a pint of the black stuff!
The Ha’Penny Bridge is an old style Dublin pub nestled right in the heart of Temple Bar. Located on the south bank of the River Liffey on Wellington Quay it over looks the Ha’Penny Bridge - hence the name! Over the years The Ha’Penny Bridge bar has seen very little change and is a fine example of an Irish old style bar. Live music, craic and singsongs are provided here seven nights a week.
Brogan’s Bar:
Another popular Temple Bar watering hole is Brogan’s Bar; located just at the edge of the lively Temple Bar district this is a popular pub among locals, tourists, passer-by’s and people attending the Olympia Theatre which is located just next door! The Palace Bar:
The Palace Bar is just another little hidden gem of Dublin’s many public houses, located on Fleet Street in Temple Bar. This is a small but cosy Dublin pub offering a good atmosphere with friendly staff. This is another popular traditional Irish music venue attracting the same cliental. Established in 1843 this is another Dublin pub with a long tradition of pulling pints. Popular with writers and poets like W.B Yeats, Patrick Kavanagh and more there is a presence of the past still felt here today.
