Now in its 15th year Bealtaine continues to grow and this year will see more events and organisers than ever before with hundreds of events taking place across the country, this year’s programme is sure to have something to suit all tastes.
In 2009 The Bealtaine Festival witnessed over 57,000 people take part in over 2,000 Bealtaine events all across Ireland. With concerts, dancing, singing, art classes, plays, tours, lectures and literary events, The Bealtaine Festival is a wonderful celebration offering people a chance to socialise, be entertained, connect with people of all ages, and most importantly to express yourself.

Dawn Chorus
All over Ireland, Active Retirement Associations are joining with choirs from the Association of Irish Choirs to create a Dawn Chorus. This year’s events will take place on Sunday the 30th of May in many counties across Ireland. CoisCéim Dance Theatre

CoisCéim Workshops
