Fleadh Nua celebrates all things Irish and promises 9 days of scheduled events and performances as well as impromptu Irish music sessions and ceilis, both indoors and outdoors. The festival has a programme of workshops and activities that incorporate Irish history, Irish culture, the Irish language as well as the popular Fleadh Nua’s Celtic Studies Programme.

Also on offer is Scoil Fleadh Nua where you have the chance to learn Clare sets (Irish dance) as well as the more popular céilí dances. At Scoil Fleadh Nua you have the opportunity to attend classes for the more popular traditional musical instruments. Fonn Séisiún Workshops will help musicians familiarize themselves with the most common tune sets and improves skills for joining in sessions.

This annual traditional festival attracts approximately 50,000 revellers, from home and abroad to the market town of Ennis, where they can enjoy an amazing mix of concerts, music, song, street entertainment, pageants/parades, exhibitions, film shows, singers clubs, CD launches, pub music trails and not forgetting of course, the National Dancing Championships.
