About the show…
Dara O’Briain will be returning to the intimate surrounds of Vicar Street - the home of stand-up comedy in Dublin. Dara O’Briain has been to the forefront of Irish comedy ever since he was a team leader in the comedy show, ‘Don’t Feed the Gondolas’, which was hosted by Sean Moncrief.
After this, he rose to prominence in Ireland, and performed at the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Comedy Festival. He also performed in major comedy festivals such as the ‘Just for Laughs’ and the ‘Edinburgh Festival’. He also went on tour in Europe, America, Asia and Australia, and in such cities as Dubai, Boston, Adelaide, Shanghai and New York.
Perhaps Dara is best known today for his hosting of the TV show ‘The Panel’ which is a weekly discussion show with a very humorous slant! Dara has since moved on from that show and can now be seen presenting ‘Mock the Week’ on BBC.

How to get to Vicar Street…
Vicar Street is located on 58-59 Thomas Street, which is located west of Temple Bar.
To get there, start at Trinity College and head along Dame Street. Keep going straight ahead, past Christchurch Cathedral and the street becomes Thomas Street and Vicar Street is located here on the left hand side.
If travelling from outside the city, you can take the N4 into the city from the M50. After passing Heuston Station and crossing the river, you will drive for about 700 metres before you can turn right off Ellis Quay, back over the river. This brings you onto Bridgefoot Street for about 400 metres. Turn right onto Thomas Street, and you should find Vicar Street on the left.
