About the show…
This one man show stars Kevin McAleer - a master of dry wit. Originally from Tyrone, this stand-up comedian has a very unique and amusing way of looking at the world that is sure to have you in stitches all night long. He has appeared on the Late Late Show numerous times and has performed in the Kilkenny Cat Laughs for several years.
Kevin McAleer is one of Ireland’s top comedians and he will be returning to Blanchardstown with the latest version of his legendary show. This latest show has been seen all over the world and was a huge success at London’s Soho Theatre last Summer.
Kevin McAleer has even written a book called “Duelling - The Cult Of Honour in Fin-de-siecle Germany”, which explores the idea that duelling in Wilhelmine Germany may have given rise to the Nazis in Germany. Not traditionally considered a topic for humour but Kevin McAleer’s sardonic wit shines through and makes for an enjoyable read.
This Kevin McAleer show will be coming to the Main Auditorium in the Draíocht Arts Centre in Blanchardstown. The show is on Friday February 1st and it will start at 8pm. Tickets: €18 / €16 conc.
