    • Dublin Airport Customs officials seized €37,000 hidden in a man’s underwear at Dublin Airport in 2011.
    • A live Chihuahua was seized and placed in quarantine after it showed up in an X-ray of a man’s hand luggage in Dublin Airport. The man, who had travelled from Bulgaria and changed planes in Madrid, intended to give the dog as a gift but wanted to bypass quarantine laws.
    • Terminals 1 and 2 is are both 75,000 square meters – the equivalent of five Croke Parks each!
    • Dublin Airport provides 7,000 sandwiches, 5,000 hot meals, and 12,600 hot beverages daily.
