The award winning Waterfront Hall is a famous auditorium in Belfast city which plays host to concerts, exhibitions and conferences. The circular dome shaped landmark building can be found in Lanyon Place, just about a 10 minute walk from the city centre. The Waterfront Hall has been the venue for some of the best entertainment in Belfast city since it opened its doors in 1997. It boasts a main auditorium (capacity for up to 2,200 people), a studio theatre (capacity for up to 380 people), a VIP suite, 14 meeting rooms, brasserie, two bars and an exhibition space.

So what’s taking place there this month;

Celebrate Bastille Day this 14th of July with Los Compesinos, a rock and roll outfit which will perform in Studio of the Waterfront Hall at 7.30pm. Tickets priced £8.50.

Fighting with Wire - an alternative rock and punk band which hail from County Derry. They have just released their debut album called ‘Man V’s Monster’. The band gained huge recognition when they played at Glasgowbury - Northern Ireland’s largest outdoor music festival. They will perform at 9pm on the 16th of July and tickets are priced at £3.

The One Man Star Wars Trilogy comes to the Studio of the Waterfront Hall on the 17th of July at 8pm. This is a must-see for Star Wars fans as Canadian actor Charles Ross will play all the characters by himself! Tickets for this show are £12.

Lisa Hannigan plus support will entertain at the Waterfront Hall on the 17th of July. Lisa is a well know Irish singer songwriter who has supported artist like Damien Rice, The Frames and Snow Patrol. Tickets are priced at £10 and she will perform at 8pm.

DJ Rupture featuring Jahdan Blakkamoore. DJ Rupture is a DJ from New York who is renowned for his three turntables which he mixes to play ragga, breakcore, jungle and hip-hop. Tickets are priced at £8 and the event kicks off at 9.30pm.

The Waterfront Hall is located close to the River Lagan beside the Belfast Hilton Hotel. If you’re driving, there are two 24-hour car parks nearby the Waterfront Hall which have about 800 spaces.
