Since it’s opening in 1997, the Waterfront Hall has become one of the many symbols of the vibrant and thriving Belfast entertainment scene. The Hall has attracted to date more than 5 million visitors since it’s opening. An award winning conference, arts and family entertainment venue, it has plenty of seating, meeting rooms, gift shops, an excellent restaurant and two bars.

KICKmas Box Special
If you’re into martial arts, and in particular kickboxing, then why not head to this event at the Waterfront Hall on Monday 1st December, with the first bout kicking off literally at 7pm!

Robin Hood Pantomime
You and the family are in for a treat this December, if you manage to get to see this show! A fun evening’s entertainment is in store for all. Robin Hood is the Christmas Pantomime for the Waterfront Hall Belfast this season. The shows run from Saturday the 29th November right through to Saturday January 10th 2009.
Catch the much-celebrated Panto actor Dan Gordon, who heads an exemplary cast in the Waterfront Hall’s production of Robin Hood. You probably well know that the key to a successful Christmas pantomime is the audience getting involved in the show, whether its joining in with the stunning musical repertoire of songs, or telling the leading actor that the villain is ready to pounce!
Robin Hood will feature the best of Northern Ireland’s Panto figures, with wonderful costumes and intoxicating music. Can the legend that is Robin Hood succeed against the dastardly villain that is the Sheriff of Snottingham? Will Maid Marion and the ladies from Sherwood Forest save the forest from the evil Sheriff’s clutches? Find out by catching this highly anticipated show and you will be rolling in the aisles!
Individual ticket prices for the show cost £15.00, and there are family tickets available (in sets of 4) for 2 adults and 2 children for £45.00. Groups of 15 plus can be accommodated at £9.50 person.

Paddy McGuinness Tour - Live at the Waterfront Hall Belfast
For a great night’s laughter and jokes, check out stand up comedy act Paddy McGuinness, who performs his laugh a minute show at the Waterfront Hall, on Thursday 4th December 2008. The Show begins at 8pm, and tickets cost £18.50.
This much loved UK comedian will showcase his new stand up routine, which will have you splitting your sides with laughter - it’s rumoured that he will have other comedians joining him on stage!
The man from Lancashire made a name for himself with his work alongside the hilarious Peter Kay in his role as “Paddy” in Kay’s wonderfully humorous Phoenix Nights show. This tour is called Paddy McGuinness - Plus You! So get ready for some great entertainment and maybe be plucked from the audience!
The Ulster Orchestra presents The Snowman
Based on the music of Raymond Briggs’ enchanting 1982 festive movie about the animated Snowman, this is a marvellous afternoon out for all the family, in particular the little ones!
Christopher Bell conducts the music, and the Ulster Orchestra will play with gusto the celebrated score by Howard Blake, featuring the classic “Walking in the Air”. This one-hour show is a must for all the family.

Belfast Education and Library Board (BELB) Christmas concert
This Christmas Concert performance at the Waterfront Hall begins at 7.30pm on Wednesday the 10th of December and will feature students from the Belfast School of Music performing festive music in this much loved annual event. Sponsored by the Belfast Education and Library Board (BELB), it will also incorporate work from the City of Belfast Youth Orchestra.

Shakin’ Stevens
Why not indulge in a bit of 80′s nostalgia by taking a trip to see Welsh crooner Shakin’ Stevens at the Waterfront on Tuesday December 2nd 2008 with the show kicking off at 8pm.
Tickets cost in the £25.00 bracket. During the Eighties he was a prolific chart performer, with nearly forty hit singles, and four number ones in the UK Singles Chart. Roll back the years and enjoy tracks from his back catalogue including “Oh Julie”, “This Ole House”, “Green Door”, and one that will be sure to be enjoyed given the time of year “Merry Christmas Everyone”!

You’re guaranteed a pre Christmas treat on Wednesday December 17th, with the performance by esteemed Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler at the Waterfront Hall. Since her debut smash hit “It’s a Heartache” thirty years ago, Bonnie has enjoyed huge chart success worldwide with classics such as “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and “Holding out for a Hero”. Catch her live to witness the power of her captivating voice.
