About the event…
The Spring House and Garden Show will be taking place at the RDS in early March, which should hopefully coincide perfectly with your spring-cleaning plans! If you want to give your house a make over or you feel the garden needs some help after the winter, then this event is the perfect place to come and research your options.
The event will feature over 200 exhibitors who specialise in different fields and are on hand to inspire and educated the homemaker. The exhibitors have been split into 4 categories: Interiors, Gardens, Build It and D.I.Y.
Some of the highlights of the show include the Live Stage, which will host a Q&A session, where you can ask the experts about the problems you’ve been having in your garden or elsewhere.
In a year where it is more pertinent to be green, Duncan Stewart will be going over all the solutions in sustainable and renewable technologies.
If you’re planning on re-vamping your interiors then visit the ‘Design Doctors’ and ‘Art & Interiors by Design’ sections. There will also be a Live Kitchen, a Garden Area & Forum, a Plant & Shop crèche and plenty of opportunities for picking up bits and pieces for your house as you browse the stalls.
Each of the different areas will be colour coded making it easier for you to find your way around. Experts on hand at the expo event include household names like gardener Gerry Daly, architect Duncan Stewart, interior designer Avril Murphy Allen and garden designer Paul Martin.
The Spring House & Garden Show runs from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th of March in the RDS Simmonscourt. Opening times are Friday 10am - 8pm and Saturday/Sunday 10am-6pm. The admission prices are €12 for adults and €6 for child/student/OAP.
