The Official Launch of this year’s Rally of The Lakes will take place at 7.30pm in The Brehon Hotel Killarney this Sunday 18th April.
The Rally of The Lakes will kick off over the May Bank Holiday with the first car leaving the Start Ramp in Killarney Town Centre at 8.30am on Saturday 1st May. Saturday will cover 7-stages between Killarney and Millstreet and promises exciting stages.
There will be a further 7-stages in the North and West of Killarney to make up the Sunday section with leading cars due back at the Finish Ramp at the Gleneagle Hotel at 5pm on Sunday. Rally Head Quarters will be based at The Gleneagle Hotel on Killarney’s Muckross Road, where you can obtain the official Rally of the Lakes programme.
The Rally of the Lakes has undoubtedly some of the most scenic routes in the world, with stages winding through Moll’s Gap and around the stunning lake’s of Killarney. Killarney town and the South West Region will get a massive tourism boost due to the rally and with just one visit it is easy to see just why.
