When you join a club, most will have coaches from whom you can take lessons. Even if you have a basic knowledge of the game, and have played before, it’s advisable to take a few lessons from the club coach. Even the professionals need coaching!

Lower Aghada has well established club house as well as 6 all weather tennis courts which are floodlit. Inside the club house they are oppertunities to play bowls and table tennis.

The best way to get started is to join a club, choosing one which caters for beginners as it is important to find someone of you own standard to play with. The Club coach/manager will help you here and many of the clubs run beginners coaching sessions, leagues, tournaments and social events which will provide the opportunity to meet potential Squash partners. Most clubs have junior membership and run tournament and programme for their young members.
Stackallen Tennis Club

Lawn tennis is played here as well as Pitch and Putt. the club was established in 1951 as a tennis club and in 1963 the pitch and putt course was added. Sine then very little has changes in the wonderful club.
There is now 6 flood-lit, all weather tennis courts.
New members are welcome to join, and visitors are welcome to play on the grounds.
