‘Clubland Live 3′ promises to be one of the best dance nights in town! It will feature live performances from some of the biggest names in club music like Cascada, N-Dubz, Darren Styles and Agnes plus many more. It takes places Tuesday 1st December, doors open at 6.30pm.
One of the world’s most famous operas - Aida - is coming to the O2 on Friday December 4th. This spectacular show tells the poignant story of an Egyptian princess taken into slavery. The production will feature a cast of 200 which includes 20 ballet dancers, an orchestra and 75 singers. Opera enthusiasts will not want to miss this one!
Ireland’s rock legends Horslips will take to the stage on December 5th. They are sure to rock the 02 with all the favourite tracks from their 10 albums plus some more recent songs from their Rollback Unplugged album.
James Morrison will play the 02 on December 6th. Special guests One Republic are sure to get the crowd warmed-up! This is a fully seated concert and doors open at 6.30pm.
The second week of December will see Lily Allen play the 8th, followed by Simple Minds on the 9th of December, Depeche Mode on the 10th (already sold out) and American rock group Paramore on the 12th.
Eddie Izzard is undoubtedly one of the best stand up comedy acts around at the moment. He is just after finishing a 5-week stint at London’s West End and the tickets for his shows sold out in just 48 hours! He will perform his highly acclaimed ‘Stripped’ show at the O2 on December 14th. Because this show is sold out he will perform another show on the 15th December (limited tickets still available).
Teen sensation Miley Cyrus hits the 02 on 16th and 17th of December. This is Miley’s first performance in Ireland and both shows are now sold out. She will be supported by her brother and his band on the night - Metro Station.
The Prodigy return to the 02 with their ‘Invaders Must Die’ tour on Friday 18th December while Saturday 19th will see David Gray take to the stage in his first ever 02 performance.
Paul McCartney brings his European tour to Dublin’s O2 on the 20th of December. It’s his first time playing Dublin in 6 years so it’s no wonder that the tickets for his “Good Evening Dublin” concert were sold out in 20 minutes!
Imelda May hits the 02 on the 22nd of December. She has had a phenomenal year with her quirky fusion of rockabilly, jazz and blues making a huge impact on the charts. For this Dublin show she will be joined by special guests Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club.
The festive events at the 02 Dublin finish on a high note with the ‘We Will Rock You’ smash hit musical taking to the stage from the 20th-31st of January. The musical was written by Ben Elton and Queen band members Brian May and Rodger Taylor. It opened at the West End in 2002 and since then, it has toured all over the world and has been seen by over 6 million people! Don’t miss your chance to see this true rock extravaganza perform at the 02.
