The International Museum of Wine

The International Museum of Wine is housed in Desmond Castle. Here you’ll see a comprehensive exhibition, which tells the story of Ireland’s wine links with the rest of the world. During the 18th and 19th centuries, Kinsale was an important Irish wine port so it’s no wonder today that Kinsale has become synonymous with good food and wine!

Historical Stroll in Kinsale

What better way to get to know the historical town of Kinsale than by taking a guided walking tour. Your tour guides Don & Barry will take you on an intriguing, fun and educational walking tour of the town, which lasts approx 90 minutes. You can avail of this fascination tour from March to Mid November and it leaves the Tourist Office daily at 11.15am.
