This year Guinness is celebrating to mark the 250-year anniversary of Arthur Guinness signing the lease on Saint James’s Gate Brewery. With a summer long feast of events there is something for everyone to enjoy at The Guinness Storehouse. During the months of June, July and August, visitors to the Guinness Storehouse will be treated to seasons of music, tours, lectures and demonstrations.

These events will take place daily at no additional cost to Guinness Storehouse visitors. Booking in advance is not required but places will be limited and are offered on a first come, first served basis.

· Brewery Bar Restaurant - Monday’s - 11am.

Visit a Guinness and Food Cooking Demonstration: here Head Chef: Justin O’Connor will show you many Guinness infused cooking delights. You will also receive a Guinness themed recipe book to try those tempting recipes at home.

· Guinness Archives - Tuesday’s - 11am.

On Tuesday’s you will have the opportunity to learn all about the rich history of Guinness, view some important founding documents and much more with the Top 10 Golden Moments of Guinness History.

· Arthur Bar - Wednesday’s - 11am.

Learn how to appreciate Guinness and of course tasting is included! Here you will also be taught the art of how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness. This is only available to people 18+.

· Guinness Advertising Exhibition - Thursday’s - 11am.

Visit an advertising exhibition on Guinness - here you will see the many advertisements placed since 1929, the many Guinness images used and much more.

· Atrium - Friday’s - 11am.

Take ‘The Guinness 250 Tour’, here you will learn an in-depth history of Guinness, as 250 years of Guinness is unfolded.

· Arrol Suite - Saturday’s - 1pm.

Saturday’s will treat you to a fantastic spectacle of Irish music, song and dance accompanied by a live Céilí band.

· Source Bar - Sunday’s - 1pm.

What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than at The Guinness Storehouse? Relax and be entertained by great music and company.

· Worldwide Celebration of Guinness

On 24th September 2009 the world will come together to celebrate and toast to the legend that is Sir Arthur Guinness. Guinness has also planned a fantastic worldwide celebration with fantastic prizes on offer.

The Guinness Storehouse is one of Dublin’s top visitor attractions and is a must when you visit Dublin. Guinness Storehouse is open 7 days a week from 9.30am until 5pm. Late opening in July and August until 7pm each evening. Closed on Good Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Saint Stephen’s Day.
