Belfast certainly has a lot going on for it in the way of family entertainment and events over the next few months. With such a wide variety on offer, the family will enjoy carnival parades, 5 a side football competitions, steam train rides and much more. Why not have a look at our very brief guide for a few ideas…

St. Patrick’s Day Carnival and Concert Belfast

The theme of this year’s carnival parade is “Legends, Myths, and Stories”. On the day you will see performers jigging along to both traditional and carnival music, colourful floats, clowns and much more.

The carnival parade gets under way at 12 noon from City Hall. It will then make its way along Donegal Place to Castle Junction into Castle Place, then along High Street and Victoria Street, into Custom House Square.

At the time of writing, tickets for the St. Patrick’s Day free concert at Custom House Square had all been allocated.
