The Sleeping Beauty…

Enjoy the story of this timeless children’s classic, which is held at the modern and spacious Helix Centre in Glasnevin, from November 29th to January 4th. Written and directed by Karl Harpur, this show tells the story of the beautiful princess who was cursed into a deep sleep for 100 years, after pricking her finger on a needle of a spinning wheel on her 18th birthday. This show will have a gathering of all children’s favourite characters, from the Good Fairy, the Handsome Prince to the beautiful Princess.

The Sleeping Beauty Christmas Pantomime will take place in the Theatre Venue in the Helix, one of three venues located at the Helix Centre.

Aladdin at the Olympia Theatre…

Taking place from Saturday December 20th, to the 4th of January, Aladdin is not to be missed! Featuring a poor boy, a beautiful princess, the genie and the magic lamp, and not forgetting a magic carpet ride, Aladdin Christmas Panto is not to be missed! Starring Susan McFadden as the Genie and Noel Ginnity, Aladdin will be performed at the Olympia Theatre, which is located on Dame Street, Temple Bar, in Dublin city centre. Dates & times for Aladdin:

There will be two shows daily for the Aladdin Christmas Pantomime, one at 3pm and one at 7.30pm at the Olympia. Note that there are no shows on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. And on the final day of the panto, Sunday the 4th January the show times are 1pm and 5.30pm.

Cinderella at the Gaiety Theatre…

Showcasing at the Gaiety Theatre, this children’s classic show runs from 30th November 2008 to February 1st 2009. With a remarkable cast, starring “You’re A Star” 2007 winner Leanne Harte in the main role as Cinderella, and including all your favourite characters from Buttons, the Fairy Godmother and Prince Charming, the show is a marvellous evenings entertainment for all the family to enjoy, in the most impressive of surroundings, at the historic Gaiety Theatre.

Cinderella tells the timeless tale of the young woman covered in cinders who wishes to escape the drudgery of her life, finding happiness and meeting her perfect man and escaping from those awful Stepsisters! Her Fairy Godmother and Prince Charming make her dreams come true in this charming tale for all the family to enjoy!

Cinderella shows at 11am and 6.30pm during weekdays.
