Immerse yourself in the Christmas spirit by attending the Christmas Song And Dance Festival at the National Concert Hall, Dublin on Saturday the 8th December. Dublin’s National Concert Hall is located roughly midway along Earlsfort Terrace, just south of Saint Stephen’s Green. If you’re walking from O’Connell Street, head south across the river and walk past Trinity College and onto Grafton Street. Walk the length of Grafton Street until you come to Saint Stephen’s Green. Earlsfort Terrace is on the opposite side of the green.
There are a number of public transport options that’ll get you to the National Concert Hall. There’s a Luas stop about 5 minutes away on Harcourt Street and a DART Station on Pearce Street. You can also hop on a bus. A number of bus routes pass nearby including the number 10, 11, 13, 14, 14A, 15, 15A, 15B, 15C, 27C, 44, 46A, 46B, 48A and 68.
If you’re driving to the National Concert Hall it’s worth noting that it doesn’t have parking facilities. However there are a number of parking options nearby. Firstly, if you’re lucky enough to get it, there’s on street parking. Other options include the Royal College of Surgeons car park, Saint Stephen’s Green car park, the Dawson Street car park, Drury Street car park and Park Rite car park.
The Christmas Song and Dance Festival is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. It has become very much a Christmas tradition for many, so why not make it part of yours? The festival will feature music, song, and dance for all the family.
The presenter of the event is Niamh Murray, who is also a soprano singer of the Dublin County Choir. The Dublin County Choir is conducted by Colin Block, joined by John Dexter, organist and chorus master, and accompanied by Celine Kelly. There’ll also be performances by The Billie Barry Children dancers and singers, and The Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) Wind Ensemble.
The concert will be held on Saturday December 8th and it starts at 8pm in the Main Auditorium.

On Lower Leeson Street you’ll find the 3-Star Premier Suites Dublin and The Leeson Court Hotel which is unclassified but is about a 2-Star level.
All of these hotels are located in the city centre within walking distance of the main shopping areas and if you fancy hitting a bar or a club afterwards you can soak up the atmosphere on the cobblestone streets of Temple Bar.
