If you happen to be visiting Ireland’s capital for business then it’s likely you’ll need Dublin hotels near the Irish Financial Services Centre (IFSC) in the rejuvenated Docklands Area. This quayside location overlooking the River Liffey in Dublin 1 is the core of the city’s business district. If you don’t fancy walking, getting around the city from the Docklands is really easy as Connolly Station is only a short walk away and serves intercity trains, the DART, the LUAS (light rail system) and a number of bus routes. The Docklands also has it’s own new station which connects the IFSC to stations in the west of the county such as Ashtown, Castleknock, Broombridge, Coolmine and Clonsilla. In the future the LUAS is planning to extend as far as the IFSC.
