The Dingle way

ENQUIRE ABOUT THIS TOUR

Tour Ref: DW7 or DW10

This self-guided (independent) walking/hiking tour will take you from Kerry's county town Tralee to the fishing port of Dingle and beyond, through one of the last strongholds of the Gaelic language and through spectacular scenery, rich in archaeological remains. Along the way you pass mountains, corrie lakes and beaches - the setting of many films, including 'Ryan's Daughter'.
The average walking time ranges from 5 to 6.5 hours per day, at a normal pace, with a variety of walking terrains. Your accommodation is in family run B&B's and your luggage is transported for you between each accommodation from one leg of the tour to the next. We supply you with maps and a full range of detailed walking notes - written by our Director of Activities, Sean O Suilleabhain, one of the founders of the Kerry Way - for each leg of your walk.
