Maynooth
Maynooth is a charming university town situated on the M4. The tree-lined Main Street links the university campus with Carton House estate. A must-see for visitors are the splendid college grounds, including the Neo-Gothic College Chapel, Bicentenary Garden and parkland walks. Also located on the campus is the National Science Museum. The ruined Geraldine castle, just outside the college gates, and nearby Connolly's Folly both attest to Maynooth's rich history.
