Lough Lee lies nearly midway between the B72 Ederny-Castlederg road and the B50 Armagh-Castlederg road. It is approached off a by road from the north and there is a walk of abour 1 mile following the marker posts. This is a lough of just under 40 acres, gin clear, and full of well shaped, hard fighting trout that look a bit like sea trout. Lough Ash lies to the north of B48 Plumbridge-Dunnamangh road and is entirely dependent on stocked trout. A number of quite large brown trout are stocked every season with a view to providing anglers with good catches. The season runs from 1 March to 20 October. There is a 4 fish bag limit and a 10 inch size limit. The western shore is dangerous and closed to anglers and the well served with stiles and footbridges and there is a car park nearby. Moor Lough is situated just over 3 miles south of Dunmanagh in scenic hill country. It is well signposted and access to it is good, so much so that it can be recommended for disabled anglers. The season runs from 1 March to 20 October. There is a 10 inch size limit and a 4 fish bag limit in operation. Boats are allowed but no outboard motors, and it is fly fishing only from a boat.

Lough Lack

Lough Lack is about 25 acres in area and is situated in Lough Bradan Forest, surrounded on three sides by young plantation. The access to it is by a forest road off the B72 Ederny-Castlederg road. It hold a good stock of a half and three quarters lb trout and you may even get one of 1lb or better. These trout take very fast and fight and deep. They are very free rising but hard to hook and you will have to go down in fly size to have much success.

Lough Bradan is a gin clear mountain lough, well stocked with brown trout which are naturally free rising. It is situated 6 miles north east of Ederny and nearly 5 miles west of Drumquin. Access is via a by road to the north and there is a car park close to the water. Bradan gets a hatch of chironomids, a very big hatch of sedges, and a prolific caenis hatch.
