What does a ‘Location Search’ offer you?

If you know the county where your ancestors came from, a Location Search will pinpoint the exact area within that county be it a townland or a particular area.

If the search provides a successful outcome, you will receive:

  • A personalized letter from the appropriate county centre or professional genealogist outlining the type of searches performed; an explanation on the findings of their research and indicating where in that county the ancestor was born. You will also be provided with suggested additional research that may help to gain more in-depth information on your ancestor’s family.
  • A ‘Location Certificate’ which certifies the location where your ancestor originated from within that county and you or your nominee will be named as a descendant.
  • An Ordnance Survey Map of the county or town/city that will highlight the place of your ancestor’s birth.

All of these documents will be posted to you in an attractive presentational folder along with additional information on tracing your Irish roots and visiting Ireland.

The ‘Location Search’ costs just EUR70.00, inclusive of shipping charges…please note that the product will take approximately 28 days to be delivered.



 

What if you can’t find information on my ancestors?

With every search, an extensive trawl through our databases and sources takes place based on the information provided by you. If we cannot locate any details on your ancestor and if our genealogist professionals are satisfied that we have insufficient information to verify the location of your ancestor then you will receive:

A letter outlining the sources searched which a professional genealogist will sign.

Advice and suggestions on how you might further your research.

A refund of EUR20.00; the remaining EUR50.00 will be used to cover postage and administrative costs.
