The Kilronan Guesthouse is easily found. If you leave from the city centre, you must turn left onto Saint Stephen's Green North. Turn right onto Saint Stephens Green East and continue on down Earlsfort Terrace. You will pass the Conrad International Hotel on your left and the National Concert hall on your right. At the end of Earlsfort Terrace, turn right onto Adelaide Road and you will find Kilronan House on the right.
Located on the southern side of the River Liffey, Kilronan House is superbly located within walking distance to almost all of Dublins major attractions including St Stephens Green, Grafton St, Trinity College (Book of Kells), Dublin Castle, Temple Bar district and much more.
A little further afield, being either a slightly longer walk or a trip on Dublin’s sight seeing Hop On – Hop Off bus will get you to the famous Guinness Brewery, St Patricks Cathedral, Kilmainham Gaol and the Jameson Distillery. Within close proximity to the Luas (tram) stop and numerous bus stops, Kilronan House’s central location makes it easy to get to and from where ever you need to be.
The Guest House is superbly located and you can visit most of the city’s main tourist attractions including Trinity College, home to the Book of Kells, Dublin Castle, Christ Church Cathedral, the Guinness Brewery, the National History and Art Museums, Temple Bar area and the National Concert Hall (located just around the corner from the guest house) all of which are within a 15 minute walk from the Guest House. Enjoy a night in one of Dublin’s historic theatres including the Abbey, the Gaiety Theatre or the newest addition, the Grand Canal Theatre all of which are within easy walking distance. For sporting and Concert enthusiasts we are a 20 minute walk to the Aviva Stadium and a 10 minute taxi journey to Croke Park and the O2. Breakfast very good. Rooms fine be it ours was on the 3rd floor a bit of a climb. Staff very good and helpful. We were in house next door (68)which being a group of 8 gave us our own lounge which we could use as a meeting place before and after going out for the evening.
