Welcome to Trinity College, Dublin founded in 1592, is the oldest university in Ireland. Standing on a self contained site, the College itself covers 35 acres of cobbled squares and green spaces surrounded by buildings which represent the accumulated architectural riches of nearly three centuries. From the end of May to mid September the College opens up its 800 residential rooms on the historic city centre campus for visitors. The accommodation ranges from older traditional student style accommodation in buildings of character, to modern buildings where the rooms have private bathroom facilities.
