Benvarden, Dervock, Ballymoney, Antrim
Benvarden has been in the ownership of the Montgomery family since 1798 and most of the landscaping and planting of the mature trees was carried out by them in the years 1800-1820.

The Walled Garden, about 2 acres in area, appears on a map dated 1788 and has been cultivated since then without interruption, although with alterations to the layout from time to time.

Glenariff, Antrim
Cascading down from the Antrim Plateau to the sea, the Glenariff River has cut a narrow gorge through the hard basalt rock. Spectacular waterfalls within the gorge throw up fine spray which catches shafts of sunlight in a rainbow of colours. About 100 years ago, trees were planted to enhance the native woodland of oak, hazel, ash and willow, and to make the area more attractive to visitors.
