For a truly memorable holiday, stay at the beautiful Glendale Holiday Cottages. These 4-star self-catering cottages are set in the glorious historical surroundings of Glendalough in County Wicklow. The interior of these cottages are comfortable and homely, with open-plan kitchen/living room and log fire for a cosy ambience. The cottages have three bedrooms, one of which is ensuite. The surrounding area of Glendalough and its twin lakes is a magnificent setting where you can enjoy many outdoor pursuits. Bookings taken Saturday to Saturday for the week.

Glendale Holiday Cottages are located just 30 miles from Dublin. Take the Bray Road from Dublin to Kilmacanogue and turn right onto the Glendalough Road. Continue through the village of Roundwood and Annamoe. ‘Glendale Holiday Cottages’ are located about 500 yards on the Dublin side of the village of Laragh, on your left.
Glendale Holiday Cottages are in an ideal location, set in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains, with over 1,250sq miles of majestic, unspoiled landscape - the perfect setting for outdoor activities including fishing, hill walking, and pony trekking in Wicklow National Park. Take a short stroll to the busy village of Laragh, home to many shops, restaurants, and pubs. Only 5 minutes from Glendale is the Clara Lara Fun Park, a great venue for all the family, with activities such as boating, canoeing and rafting on 5 acres of lakes and shallow pond. This is also home to the ‘Aqua Shuttle’- Irelands largest slide.
Each cottage has 3 very comfortable and well-designed bedrooms. The master bedroom is en-suite. Bed linen and towels are supplied free. Electricity is extra.
Situated only 5 minutes from Glendale, Glendalough is probably the best known glen in Wicklow. The valley of the two lakes (Gleann-da-locha) lies in the centre of the Wicklow mountains and is famous for its rugged beauty, history, and archaeological sites. Local historical landmarks include the round tower, churches, cahers, and various other ruins. Glendalough Visitor Centre is situated at the entrance to the valley, hosting various exhibitions on the history, folklore, wildlife, and archaeology of the glens. Gîte idéalement situé pour découvrir la belle région de Glendalough. Cottage propre,spacieux et très bien équipé( fer repasser,sèche cheveux,pastilles lave vaisselle, éponge torchons, serviettes.thé..) A conseiller, pas de mauvaise surprise.
Each cottage has an open-plan kitchen and sitting room with a warm and welcoming log fire. The kitchen is fully fitted with all mod cons. such as microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. and tumble dryer. Depending on the unit, central heating will be either electric or oil-fired.
