When i first arrived i was very pleased with the room i was allocated. It had a sea view and large. The bar staff and the waiting staff in the bar were very efficient friendly and welcoming little was i aware what was to happen at night. This hotel has a night club which goes on till 2.30 am. The patrons of the nightclub have out of doors drinking area which consists of a wwoden and glass structure with no soundproofing. The noise from the the people attending the nightclub did not cease until 3.0 am. As a result i had very little sleep that night. In the morning i asked to speak to the manager but was told that he would not be available until 11.00. The receptionist deducted 20 euros from my bill and apologised. I have yet to write too the manager to complain. I expect his reply will be that the room i was given was the only one available. If this turns out to be the case my reply will be that I should have informed about the situation with the nightclub and given the opportunity to find alternative accommodation.
I have been in contact with Franics at the hotel and there is a noise problem. The hotel is basically a night spot with late bars. Bedrooms are not their primary business. However as they accommodate guests they must disclose this.
