Wicklow is situated in close proximity to Dublin, with many attractions to offer the visitor. As well as magnificent scenery, Wicklow has a rich and varied heritage ranging from the famous monastic site at Glendalough, to a number of historic houses and gardens open to the public. The county is also famous for pottery, weaving, sheepskins, jewellery, silverware and traditional handknits, so why not spend some time visiting our craft shops or sampling one of our excellent restaurants. There is something for everyone in the Garden of Ireland. Travelling to Wicklow: By Air - Fly direct to Dublin from most European cities. On arrival, transfer to your holiday accommodation by mini bus or car. 1 hour approx. from Dublin Airport. By Sea - Direct sailing to Dublin and Dun Laoghaire from England. Rosslare, Wexford from France and England. Transfer time 1 hour approx.
