Nestled in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains, this recently refurbished 3 bedroom cottage is just a few miles from the picturesque villages of Aughrim and Tinahely.
The cottage is wheelchair accessible, beautifully decorated and fully equipped. There are lovely seating areas outdoors while a real turf fire makes for a cosy night in. This quiet and peaceful location is the ideal base for touring Wicklow and the east coast.
The surrounding countryside gives the visitor an opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet of country life, while all the amenities required are available within easy reach in the local towns and villages.
For 2013 there are 4 new ELECTRIC BICYCLES available exclusively for guests to hire. These battery assisted bicycles, provide an exciting and eco-friendly way to enjoy the beautiful Wicklow countryside. With battery assistance you can enjoy the freedom of a bicycle trip without having to worry about the hills, even if you haven't been cycling for a while. Maps of recommended routes are provided. A new outdoor Children's Activity Centre with swings, a slide etc. has just been added to the garden allowing children to enjoy the open spaces thus ensuring all the family are catered for. Directions

From Dublin take the N11 to Rathnew and continue on the R752 to Rathdrum and the R753 to Aughrim. Or
From Rosslare take the N25 to Wexford and then N11 to Arklow. Take the R747 to Aughrim.

From Aughrim take the Rathdangan road. After about a half a mile keep right at the junction. Continue for about 2 miles. Turn left and continue along a winding road for 1.5 miles. Askanagap Country Cottage is on your right opposite the football pitch.

Electricity and oil fired central heating included, WiFi available, open fire (with starter pack supplied), linen and towels included, cot, high chair, TV, DVD player, CD/Radio, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, w/machine, dryer, hairdryer, UK TV channels, welcome pack, fully enclosed garden, patio area, patio furniture, private off road parking. Sorry no pets.
