Rose Cottage is located in the beautiful countryside of Duncannon in County Wexford. This fantastic Cottage is a 4 star self catering holiday home, perfect for a family holiday or a romantic break. It offers peace and seclusion in unspoilt surroundings. The cottage sits on a working farm so you can experience the daily chores of an Irish farm. There is lots to do and see in the area surrounding Rose Cottage. Activities for you to enjoy while breathing in the fresh countryside air include fishing, hill walking, pitch n’ putt and pony trekking (8km).

Directions from Passage East to Ballyhack Take the car ferry from Passage East to Ballyhack, come off ferry turning right and continue on the road into Arthurstown and up a hill, traveling straight into the village of Ramsgrange. Continue on through Ramsgrange, after exiting the village you will come to a cross roads, take a right here, following the sign for the Hook Peninsula. You will find us 0.5km over this road on the right hand side. It is the first avenue on the right with stone walls and the name Ross Cottage engraved into a granite stone. Directions from New Ross Take the turn off the Wexford New Ross Road, take Road R734 and remain on this road until you come to the first stop sign which will be approximately 18km away. At this crossroads take a right, drive for a further 3km see the Hollow Bar on your left at the next crossroads take a left turn. You will find us 0.5km over this road on the right hand side. It’s the first avenue on the right with stone walls and granite stone with Rose Cottage on it. Enter and drive a further 0.5km to the farmhouse, where the key can be collected and then continue on to the rented 4 Star cottage itself. Directions from Wexford Look for the signpost for Wellington Bridge/Ballyhack Car Ferry ( R733) take this turn. When you reach Wellington Bridge, drive through and continue on for 1.3km Then you should look out for the “Hollow Bar and Zosc Coffee Shop” on your left hand side. Next you will come to a crossroad, Take a left which is signposted for Hook Peninsula. You will find us 0.5km over this road on the right hand side: It’s the first avenue on the right whith stonewalls and granite stone with Rose Cottage on it. Sat Nav: N52.14320 W6 54.485
Fishing, hill walking, pitch n’ putt and pony trekking can all be enjoyed locally. Duncannon Fort Duncannon Fort is a star shaped fort, which was built at a strategically important promontory in Waterford Harbour. Rose Cottage is the perfect base to relax while you tour the south coast and if you fancy days shopping head to the city of Waterford, New Ross or Wexford Towns.
The cottage has been beautifully restored and furnished to four star standards. It has two bedrooms (one en suite) with two single beds and one double bed. You will find the kitchen well equipped with excellent cooking facilities. Other features of Rose Cottage include a cosy open fire, a garden for guest use and free bed linen and towels.

This family friendly property has the added facility of a beautiful garden for guests use. Guide dogs are welcome. A laundry service is also available. Bed linen and Towels are supplied free.
