Archways bed and breakfast was built in 1980. The Accommodation is made up of 6 modern rooms with a chic open plan dining and sitting room featuring a large open fire, satellite TV and a grand piano if you fancy a sing song. We offer some great home cooked gourmet food and always a warm welcome. On those balmy summer evenings you can sit out “Underneath the Arches” or stroll through the gardens and enjoy the clean fresh air. We have lots of private parking and welcome motorcyclists as we offer secure garage parking for those valuable machines (Chris has a couple of his own and would talk motorbikes all night)

Activities & Interests(Back to top)

Since this part of Ireland, enjoys more sunshine than any other region, it’s no surprise that it’s widely known as the sunny southeast. County Wexford is dotted with seaside villages and safe, sandy blue flag beaches. Enjoy a day out with the family as you dip your toes into the Irish Sea and watch the kids build sand castles. The more adventurous can enjoy a wide selection of water sports on offer.

At Kilmore Quay you can charter a fishing boat and the fishing is some of the best in Europe with more than 30 species available to catch.

Hop on board the Dumbrody Famine Ship where an interactive exhibition re-enacts life on the ship as it makes it way from New Ross to the US and Canada over 150 years ago. Experience life on board and explore the recreated decks of the ship. Definitely worthwhile and not to be missed.
There are so many activities to get stuck into while in County Wexford the list is endless. From golfing at St Helen’s Bay Golf Club and Wexford Golf Club to experiencing the countryside on horse back as well as touring the Irish Heritage Park and Wildfowl Reserve, you area sure to have a wonderful and memorable time in County Wexford. Don’t forget to ask your hosts at Archways B&B for any assistance you might need with your itinerary.

We were amazed at the quality of the rooms and the food. Words do not do justice to it.

Archways was our first accomodation on our Ireland trip so we were hesitant on what to expect. The owners are very friendly and welcomed us with cookies and tea upon our arrival. Very clean and modern bedroom - the bathroom was pretty small but we made it work. Breakfast was incredible and very filling - the owners mentioned areas to visit while on our stay.
