Golf
For anyone who loves golf, then Waterford is the perfect place for you with approximately 10 golf courses within 40 minutes drive of the B&B.; Waterford Castle Golf Course is a unique course set on an island with 250 acres of lush woodland. This golf course is certainly an excellent year-round challenge. The Paddy Merrigan designed course at Faithlegg Golf Course is another great course to discover and is only 6 miles from Waterford City.
Of course, the scenery and shear beauty of the golf course at Dunmore East is remarkable. Not only does the course overlook the village but also looks out towards the bay and Hook Peninsula. There are some tricky borrows on the greens as well as sloping fairways and strategically placed water hazards. The choice of courses in Waterford has all the makings of a brilliant day of golfing for the low and high handicapper.

At the end of the tour, make your way into the visitors centre and browse through the display – maybe even buy a unique piece exclusive to the gallery.
Enjoy an hour long walking tour of Waterford City where you will discover the ancient secrets of two cathedrals and four national monuments as well as and a gallery with treasures of the city dating back to 795. On your way back to Foxmount Farm, grab a bite to eat at one of the pubs & restaurants in the area where you might enjoy a traditional Irish music session with song and dance – an unmissable opportunity.
