Set in the shadow of the Galtee Mountains close to the Glen of Aherlow, the superb 4 star Ballykisteen Hotel & Golf Resort is a relaxing golf and country retreat. Situated amidst 170 acres of the former Ballykisteen Stud, with an overwhelming sense of space, Ballykisteen is a haven of peace and tranquility.

Combining superior bedrooms, on site Golf, Serenity Day Spa and a choice of superb dining and bar options, all of the senses can be indulged. Only a short drive (half an hour) from Limerick City on the N24 (Limerick-Waterford road) the hotel is very accessible. The hotel is also very close to Limerick Junction Train Station.

The Ballykisteen Hotel & Golf Resort is the perfect base for your stay in Munster. There's plenty to do in the nearby countryside especially if you like hill walking. Sights to see within a short drive of the hotel include; Mitchelstown Cave, Rock of Cashel, the Hunt Museum and Bunratty Castle.

The Serenity Day Spa uses all natural aromatherapy body treatments alongside wonderful Matis Facials to promote health and well-being. The 5 treatment rooms are situated on the upper floor overlooking the first and ninth fairways. The leisure centre also offers a freeform swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and aerobic gym.
Kidz Club - a fun and safe environment for your children aged 3-11 to play and enjoy the company of other children during their stay. There are two sessions daily during holiday time from 5.30pm-8pm. If you are too busy 'out and about' as a family to send your child to the 'BallyK Kidz Club' we have an unsupervised playroom stocked with toys and games available throughout the year for children and their parents to enjoy.

No more than 1 infant can be accommodated with 2 adults in our Double rooms.

The ‘Junction One' Restaurant and Bar combines excellent cuisine with inspiring surroundings. It is situated on the ground floor overlooking the 10th and 18th Fairways. Offering morning breakfasts – the largest range of breakfast foods in Ireland, through to casual luncheon and more formal evening dining.
Bally K Club
Members will enjoy unwinding in the ‘BallyK Club’ Bar on the first floor where casual food and drink is available all day.

The Ballykisteen Golf & Country Club is an 18 hole Par 72 Championship course. Designed in 1991 by Ex European Tour & Ryder Cup star Des Smyth & Associates. Set in breathtaking scenic surroundings & with lakes & streams featuring on 12 holes Ballykisteen is sure to be memorable as both a challenging & beautiful course.
At the end of a round of golf, members & residents can enjoy a relaxing drink & the magnificent views from the BallyK Club Bar situated on the first floor of the hotel.

Dinner steaks were not great - not served as requested. They were very well done instead of medium and lacked taste. A bit overpriced for the quality.
