Directions

FROM CORK
Take the main road from Cork to Dublin. (N8). At the Cahir traffic circle take the Limerick road (N24) to Tipperary Town.
You will enter the Main Street of Tipperary Town at a T-Junction/Traffic circle. Turn left. Travel down Main Street to the traffic lights. At the traffic lights turn left. Shortly after the traffic lights you will pass the Royal Hotel on your right, followed by the Creamery. Travel out this road over the railway line till you reach the traffic circle.
Turn right at the traffic circle. Follow the main road, past the entrance to the Ballyglass House Hotel on the right hand side. Continue until you reach another T-junction. There are signs indicating the Glen of Aherlow and The Aherlow House Hotel & Lodges.
Take the road to the right, and follow the road up the mountain, past the hairpin bend. Just after cresting the top of the mountain there is a road to the right, which has the Aherlow House Hotel & Lodges sign board. Take this road and follow it down the mountain until you reach the hotel.
FROM DUBLIN
Take the main road to Cork (N8) to Cashel. From Cashel take the (N74) road to Tipperary Town. Enter Tipperary on the Cashel Road, travel straight down the Main Street in Tipperary Town, past a set of pedestrian traffic lights, straight through the traffic circle to the traffic lights. At the traffic lights, turn left. Shortly after the traffic lights you will pass the Royal Hotel on your right, followed by the Creamery. Travel out this road over the railway line till you reach the traffic circle. Turn right at the traffic circle. Follow the main road, past the signs for the Ballinacourty Hotel and the Ballyglass House Hotel on the right hand side. Continue until you reach another T-junction. There are signs indicating the Glen of Aherlow and The Aherlow House Hotel. Take the road to the right, and follow the road up the mountain, past the hairpin bend. Just after cresting the top of the mountain there is a road to the right, which has the Aherlow House Hotel & Lodges sign board. Take this road and follow it down the mountain until you reach the hotel. At the centre of Tipperary town at the traffic lights turn left and continue over the railway line until you come to a roundabout - take the first right and follow the road up into the mountain. The Hotel entrance in on the right hand side.
FROM LIMERICK
Take the main road from Limerick to Tipperary Town (N24). From Limerick enter the Main Street in Tipperary Town. At the traffic lights, turn right. Shortly after the traffic lights you will pass the Royal Hotel on your right, followed by the Creamery. Travel out this road over the railway line till you reach the traffic circle. FROM ROSSLARE HARBOUR via Tipperary Town
Take the main Limerick road (N24) from Rosslare Harbour via New Ross, Waterford, Carrick-on-Suir, Clonmel and Cahir. At Cahir there is a traffic circle on the main Dublin-Cork Road (N8). Take the Limerick/Tipperary Town road (N24) off this traffic circle. You will enter the Main Street of Tipperary Town at a T-Junction/Traffic circle. Turn left. Travel down Main Street to the traffic lights. At the traffic lights turn left. Shortly after the traffic lights you will pass the Royal Hotel on your right, followed by the Creamery.
