Welcome to an anglers paradise. Sligo boasts a maze of premium fishing rivers and lakes ranging in location from just outside Sligo City to the peripherals of the county. The waters of the county offer a vast array of fish from Cod to Conger, Tope to Turbot, Salmon, Pike, Trout and Coarse Fish.
Description
The Duff River is one of the best fishing waterways in the region, it is situated approx. 4 miles on the Sligo side of Bundoran. Fishing continues from 1st May to the end of September. The fish stock consists mainly of grilse (small salmon) but further upstream brown trout can be fished. A daily permit costs IR12.00. For information/licence etc. stop at the shop beside the bridge (The All Cash Stores).
