Sea angling is principally located at Mullaghmore, Rosses Point and Enniscrone where stocks include Shark, Tope, Ray, Huss, Dogfish, Monkfish, Cod, Ling, Conger and Flatfish. Boats can be hired at these locations. Raughley, Streedagh and Aughris are popular for shore fishing. As a general rule permission of the fishery proprietors plus a state licence is required prior to making any attempts at fishing, in the majority of fishing venues in Sligo.
