Glach a mara is a three star Failte Ireland quality approved B and B home. It is a small purpose built home of only three guests rooms. Consequently guests staying at Glach a mara are assured of a holiday to remember for all the right reasons. As we say a home to home experience where all of the guests aspirations and interests will be accommodated. It is situated on the N15, 15km north of Sligo and 15km South of Bundoran. Because of its central location it is our ideal place to stay for a few days from where you may visit the many beautiful attractions in the North West Region. Please see google maps.

Glach a Mara is on the coastal N15 road 3km north of Grange and 4km south of Cliffoney.
This delightful Bed and Breakfast is perfectly situated in the north west of Ireland in the Sligo region. Sligo's Glencar Waterfall is immortalized in the poem ‘The Stolen Child’ of W.B. Yeats as he wrote ‘as the wandering water gushes from the hills above Glen Car.’ The county is enriched in an abundance of natural scenery and breathtaking views, a scenic drive of the area and you will see why it’s becoming a popular holiday destination. Due to the ideal location of Glach a Mara, you can enjoy an extended stay and visit the surrounding counties of Leitrim, Donegal and Mayo.
Glach A Mara Bed and Breakfast consists of three comfortable bedrooms, all of which contain ensuite facilities. Each bedroom is beautifully furnished and facilities include TV, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer.
Room Breakdown consists of a double bedroom, twin bedroom and a bedroom with a double and single bed. Two of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor, which is perfect for families with small children.

The area of Grange is also the starting point for a beautiful scenic drive through the Gleniff Horseshoe, which is famous for magnificent limestone cliffs, a perfect photo opportunity for nature lovers.

Tom and Christine were exceptionally welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.

Breakfast at Glach A Mara is a real treat with a selection of options including cereals and fresh juice to the old fashioned full Irish breakfast with all the trimmings, what more do you need to start the day ahead.
If you fancy a spot of hillwalking in the afternoon, Christina will prepare a beautiful packed lunch to set you on your way. The property is also family friendly with the added plus of a babysitting service on request should the occasion arise.
