Another of Ireland's great west coast links where the sound of the Atlantic surf in Killala Bay is a constant accompaniment to the golf round. Eddie Hackett designed the course and has created a battery of interesting holes which will draw on most of your clubs to negotiate.

A favourite hole is the 10th, where the golfer looks at a birdie opportunity from the scenic, elevated tee, but the drive is not for the faint hearted and must be hit true. Venue of Irish Close Championship, 1993.
