Aaron House is located in Kinnitty, a beautiful and picturesque country village set at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains. This charming village is a nice place to wander around the surrounding countryside on foot. The Knocknamana Mountain is where the ancient festival of Bealtaine was held.
Birr is only 12km away and has plenty to see and do, including pubs, clubs and restaurants. It even has its own Birr Castle that rivals Kinnitty Castle in its age and beauty. Birr Castle also has the Great Telescope which for a while was the largest telescope in the world.
