The 3 star Wyatt Hotel is a charming boutique hotel, a gem in the heart of Westport town, County Mayo. The hotel is named after the famous Georgian architect, James Wyatt, who is credited with the design and planning of this picturesque town, one of Ireland's only two planned heritage towns with its tree lined Mall. The boutique hotel was refurbished in recent times but still retains a traditional Irish exterior. The hotel is decorated with traditional elements flawlessly married with contemporary requirements. Westport is nestled between the peaks of Croagh Patrick and the deep blue seas of Clew Bay and the Atlantic ocean and has become one of the most popular holiday destinations in Co Mayo, in the West of Ireland, offering top class accommodation. Directions from Dublin
Leave Dublin onto the Motorway M4. At the end of the motorway continue forward onto the N4. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N6 signposted for Galway, Entering Kinnegad. Continue forward onto the N4. Go through Edgeworthstown. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the R393, signposted for the town centre. Continue forward onto the R393. You are now in Longford. Turn right onto the N5 signposted Dublin / Ballinalee. Continue forward onto New Street - N5 (one-way). Turn right onto the N5, signposted for Westport. Continue forward on the N5 going through the towns of Termonbarry, Frenchpark & Charlestown. Continue forward onto the N5. Arrive at Castlebar. Follow signs to Westport for approx 10 miles. Entering Westport on the Castlebar road, keep driving straight on over the Bridge and up through Bridge Street staying in the right lane. Take a right at the Clock Tower onto Shop Street and continue on straight in the left lane. The Wyatt is located on the Octagon behind St. Patrick’s Monument. Directions from Galway Leaving Galway city follow the R866 to Headford. You must then bear right onto the N84 signposted for Castlebar. You will pass through the towns of Shrule & Kilmaine. Once you reach the town of Ballinrobe again look for the signs for Castlebar. Once you reach the village of Partry turn Left onto the R330 following the signs to Westport. Continue for 18 miles until you come to Westport. Entering Westport passing the train station continue on through the roundabout coming on to Mill Street. Looking ahead at the Clock Tower continue straight onto Shop Street and continue on in the left lane. The Wyatt is located on the Octagon behind St Patrick’s Monument. Croagh Patrick is only 6 miles from Westport and commands some fantastic picture perfect views of the countryside as well as Clew Bay. JW’s Brasserie
Named after the Georgian architect James Wyatt, JW's Brasserie is a great place to meet family and friends due to it's central location in the heart of Westport. JW's Brasserie & Bar is accredited with Traditional Irish Music Award 2000-2005 and Dining Pub of the Year 2001-2005. The Brasserie is open from 10.30am serving tea/coffee and some small bites. Lunch then begins at midday until five serving an excellent choice of food off the Lunch a lá Carte Menu and dinner is then served from five until late. Daily specials are also available. JW’s Brasserie is not only a popular spot with the guests of the hotel but also with the lively locals.
