This is a superb location for an angling holiday and fishing equipment can be organised. The Helm can also arrange sightseeing trips of Clew Bay and if you get the chance, Clare Island, the largest island in Clew Bay, is well worth a visit.
For the golf enthusiast Westport Golf Club, an 18 hole championship course, is the perfect place to brush up on your golfing skills. Climbing Croagh Patrick can be challenging but is a wonderful experience on a sunny day.
After all this, you can retreat to the adjacent bar and restaurant to rest your weary bones.
