Directions

Come to Claremorris, take Castlebar Road, continue 4.5 miles until you come to a pink 2 storey house on right, signpost for Knock, so take that road to the right, take 1st road to the left, continue until you come to Facefield National School. House is 2nd on right.

Local Area

Green Acres is within close proximity to Knock International Airport and it’s also an ideal base for touring the Western coast of Ireland, Westport, Achill Island, Connemara, Sligo and Galway.

The children are sure to enjoy Claremorris Swimming Pool and Gym just 10 minutes away or horse riding at Claremorris Equestrian Centre. Golf is a popular sport in the area with great courses at Claremorris, Ballinrobe, Balla, Castlebar and Westport. 

Conveniently the self-catering cottage is only 20 minutes drive from Cong and Ashford Castle – famous for the filming of The Quiet Man. All the surrounding towns have a large selection of restaurants and pubs for great evening entertainment.
