Augusta Lodge is situated on the Golf Course Road (just off of the N59 Newport Road) just a short walk from the Westport Town Centre.
As well as offering comfortable accommodation and a warm welcome, Augusta Lodge is an ideal location for the golf enthusiast and Green fees can be arranged at Westport Golf Course and adjacent courses. Westport Golf Club, which played host to the 2002 Smurfit Irish P.G.A. Championship, is a magnificent 18 hole parkland course with breath taking views of Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay. Rory Mcelroy, the young star of Irish professional golf, won the Irish Close competition in Westport golf club in 2006. Set in beautiful landscaped gardens, there is also a 9 hole synthetic putting green on site for guests use. Dave will ensure your stay is a memorable one.
All of our 10 bedrooms are ensuite with Direct Telephone. RC SAT TV, alarm clock radio, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities with complimentary biscuits daily. Each room is individually decorated to a very high standard, spacious. All rooms have free WIFI. We have all types of rooms from double Rooms, twin bedded rooms, triple rooms and family rooms both large and small.
Westport is one of two planned towns in Ireland and is one of the most attractive destinations to visit. It is unique in its character, blending the traditional and the modern. Westport offers a wide selection of high quality restaurants, excellent shopping facilities and lively pubs with traditional music. For the sporty types there are numerous swimming pools and gyms scattered around the town.
Every known species of fish existing in Irish waters has been caught in Clew Bay! Boats can be chartered with ease for angling & crusing in one of the best locations in Europe. Clew Bay is said to have 365 islands, 'one for every day of the year' Sailing, watersports & beaches in Mayo posess some of the most beautiful, biggest & safest beaches in Europe & as you would expect, there are an abundance of watersports available to the entusiast. Westport has something for all levels of walker.

The owners could not have been friendlier, the room was cosy and we had a great night';s sleep - so much so that we missed our breakfast that we were so looking forward to!! Oh well!

Augusta Lodge has a very tastfully decorated and spacious dining room. Our menu includes Full Irish Breakfast; eggs scrambled or poached; a selection of cereals including porridge; fruit, cheese and yoghurts. Breakfast is served from eight to ten am and earlier on request. Our Guests Lounge is an ideal place to relax reading, watching TV, or using our free Internet Access. For the Golf enthusiastic we have our own 9 hole synthetic putting/chipping green to enable guests sharpen their short game prior to a round of golf on any of the numerous local courses.
