There are four bedrooms (one en suite) with two single beds, three double beds with free bed linen provided. The holiday home also has a well equipped kitchen/dining room, a utility room with tumble dryer and washing machine, diswasher, microwave and separate sitting room. A luxury feature is its cosy open fire, which you can curl up beside and watch TV.
There is so much to do and see when you stay here. The pretty village of Abbeyshrule is within walking distance. This little village, once the site of a great monastery, boasts an airfield, a canal harbour and some of the best fishing in the midlands. Other outdoor activities for you to enjoy while here include golf, horse riding and hill walking. It is centrally located for touring the midlands famous attractions like the Cistercian Abbey where can be seen, the only surviving high cross in Longford, and the Boyne Valley in the neighbouring county of Meath.
