Its location in the country but near to Limerick and of course beautiful Adare. Great spa at Revas.

Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel was a great place to stay during our week's holiday in Ireland. Situated on the outskirts of the town of Adare, it gave us the opportunity to enjoy all that Ireland is famous for- from its countryside to its people. The Staff at the hotel were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Being able to have breakfast and an evening meal at our place of accommodation was really good, particularly after a full day of sightseeing. (Meal prices were very reasonable for a family). Our family also enjoyed the free access, afforded to guests staying at the hotel, to the indoor swimming pool and gymnasium facilities.

We had a great stay in the FITZGERALDS WOODLANDS HOUSE HOTEL. The staff were lovely and friendly, the facilities are excellent. It is an excellent base for travelling around Munster. Thought should be given to allowing teenagers in family rooms, I believe that this is a gap and will become a growth area as people are more inclined to take their holidays in Ireland.

A wonderful place with friendly staff and very comfortable rooms. The food served in the restaurant was good , but portions were rather large for older people. Nice buffet style breakfast with a great range of hot & cold foods. Nice location for touring. Will definately go there again.

Comfortable stay with no issues. Good athmosphere in the Woodlands and plenty of staff to assist. Close proximity to Limerick city so a great place to stay.

We both thought that the hotel needs to be refurbished - the carpets etc. were a bit worn and the smell when you opened the door in the room was mouldy - it would put you off hotels in Ireland as we have come across many like this.

The team at Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel are very sorry that your stay was not to your satisfaction. Having reviewed all of our guest comment cards from the period during your stay, we appear not to have been informed of your dissatisfaction. In fact, our first awareness was on receipt of your comments via the GoIreland website in early May. Had we been informed on the night, we would have welcomed the opportunity to change your room if it was not to your satisfaction.

The room allocated to you for your stay was one of our smoking rooms. This many have attributed to it not being as fresh as you would have liked. I would recommend requesting a non smoking room at the reservation stage to ensure that this does not negatively affect your stay in any hotel. Equally so, I would like to reaffirm that we would have welcomed the opportunity to change your room had we been informed.

In relation to your comments regarding refurbishment, in January and February of 2008, we did embark on a comprehensive refurbishment programme. This began just after t

I found this hotel wonderful. We stayed for one night as a stopover and left sorry we had not booked for longer. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a lovely hotel.
