Really excellent rooms but no high chairs available in bar/bistro and with 2 toddlers we didn't want to eat in restaurant. Pool and play area great for kids.
Rooms clean, friendly staff, best breakfast (we had in 5 different accomodations), excellent suite, view out of double room poor.
Beautiful location and excellent staff, delightful grounds with lovely river walks along the Shannon. Walking distance of village and easy commute to Limerick, good access to other tourist attractions.
The hotel was fine, but a little tired looking. The meals in the restaurant were very pricey for what we got, the bar meals were below average. Some of the staff were not very friendly. The setting of the hotel was beautiful being on the banks of the river Shannon but I feel they do not make full use of it. As for the surrounding area, there was not much going on, it was a bit too remote. Luckily I had hired a car, so I was able to get around quite a bit, so was able to enjoy other parts of Ireland.
Dinner was more quantity than quality
The room decor was superb but the bathroom needed attention. The setting and overall location of the hotel is good.
Very nice Hotel with really beautiful rooms. The negative point was it was impossible to dinner in the hotel. After some confusion, the response of the restaurant and bar staff was not correct.
The staff was very helpful and pleasant. They took excellent care of us. They seemed truly concerned for your comfort. The food was excellent and the scones divine.
Great location and grounds...has terrific potential that has not been fully realized.
Very relaxing place to be. I would recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quiet. Beautiful riverside location.
