The Portlaoise Heritage Hotel is located in the very heart of Portlaoise town, County Laois, just off the M7 and within easy walking distance of Portlaoise train station. It is also an ideal base for touring the beauty of the surrounding area.

Our 110 bedrooms are over 3 floors and offer spacious accommodation with traditional style decor and complimentary WiFi.

The hotel's award winning Health and Fitness Club is certainly something to be talked about, offering Ealu Spa Therapy amongst other relaxing treatments.

The Portlaoise Heritage Hotel also offers a number of dining experiences, which includes the Fitzmaurice Restaurant for breakfast and lunch and the popular Spago’s Italian Bistro and Kellys Foundry for eveing meals, whilst our Coffee Bean coffee dock is open daily for light snacks.

Directions

The Portlaoise Heritage Hotel is located off the M7 Dublin/Cork interchange - Exit 17.

When you take this exit you will come onto a large roundabout and take the Portlaoise exit off of it.

Continue driving straight on, though 3 small roundabouts in quick succession.  As a landmark the 3rd roundabout has a pole with a clock face on it.

After the 3rd roundabout you will see the hotel just ahead of you on the right-hand side of the road.   You can make a right turn between our Spago & Kellys Foundry restaurants that will bring into the set down area in front of the hotel

Within Walking Distance

You can enjoy the traditonal pubs and beautiful shops in Portlaoise town centre, only minutes walk from the hotel.

Within 10kms

Golf, horseriding, hillwalking and angling can all be enjoyed locally.

The hotel has excellent facilities for a family break away. Highchairs & children meals are available and there is a Kids Room in our main Lobby.  Parents please note that this is an unsupervised facility.

Our Coffee Dock is open daily offering a wide selection of freshly made sandwiches, soups and pastries.

The hotel has excellent facilities for both conferences and functions, with two large function rooms and many smaller rooms suitable for meetings.
