Didnt inform staff but hotel was not up to standard nothing I could put my finger just not up to scratch. I have stayed in many hotels but this was my worse experience.
Staff at swimming pool very helpful & pleasant. A bit far out from Kilkenny for walking - specially with dreadful weather (I know hotel not responsible!)
The only issue we had with the hotel was that we were give a room with a disabled toilet and "bathroom", there was no bath, just a shower, which was just in a corner obviously for wheelchair access. I think this shoudl have been pointed out to use prior to the booking being confirmed. Otherwise I thought it was lovely hotel and loved the leisure club.
It was a nice hotel with friendly staff, there seemed to be good facilities but we didn't get around to using them.
The Springhill was a nice hotal, no complaints except the staff member in charge of breakfast on Sunday morning was a bit rude, but everyone else was very nice and helpfull. The romms were nice but nothing special, not worth the price. Good hotel but would have prefared more for our money, and nearer to the city centre.
Unfortunately due to our late arrival we didnt get the opportunity to use the leisure facilities.. the staff within the hotel were courteous and helpful.
I was very impressed with the Springhill Court Hotel, so much so, that I later visited it's sisters hotels in Bettystown and Arklow Bay!
Very friendly athmosphere like home from home, good food and great night entertainment was had by all.
